What gets collected

When you join the waitlist you give us your email, first name, and optionally your phone number and Instagram handle. If and when the audit or coaching opens, the application and client forms collect the details you fill in there.

Like most sites, we also use Google Analytics to see how people find and use the page (things like which pages get viewed, roughly where visitors are, and what device they're on). It sets cookies to do that. It helps us understand what's working; it is not used to identify you personally.

Cookies and analytics

This is a single-visit page, so under the Australian Privacy Principles we disclose our use of analytics cookies here rather than interrupting you with a pop-up. If you would rather not be measured at all, a browser-level ad or tracker blocker stops Google Analytics, and the site works exactly the same.

Where your data lives

Your waitlist and form details are stored in our own private database and are never publicly readable. Emails are sent through our email provider. Website analytics is Google Analytics. Payments (once coaching opens) run through Stripe, a global payment platform; your card details go straight to Stripe and never touch this site.

Each of those providers processes your data under their own privacy policy, on our instructions, to deliver the service.

What it's used for

Replying to you, running the service, and understanding how the site is used. Your details are never sold, rented, or handed to third parties for their marketing.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Message @doomscrollersocials on Instagram or reply to any email from us and it gets handled.
