Terms

Last updated 27 August 2026

These are the terms for everything sold on this site: the Club, Club Plus, the audit, the Handbook and the free guides. They are written to be read, not skimmed past. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law always stand and nothing here takes them away.

Who you are dealing with

Doomscrollers is Tilly Whitfeld's business, ABN 72 816 060 202, in Australia. "I" on this page is Tilly. When you buy something here, or sign up for a free guide, you agree to these terms and to the privacy page.

You have to be at least 18 and buying for a business or an account you run (yours, or one you are authorised to act for).

The Club and Club Plus

A membership is a plan every fortnight, written for your account from the check-in you send me, plus the Handbook and the member chapters. Club Plus adds a monthly call and chat access between plans. What each tier includes is what its page says on the day you join.

The minimum term is 12 weeks, which is six plans. After that the membership rolls on until you cancel, with two weeks' notice. Memberships can't be paused. To cancel, email me or use the link in your plan emails; a cancellation takes effect at the end of the notice, and any plan due before then still arrives.

Billing is automatic through Stripe, on the rhythm your tier is sold on (a fortnight, or a month for a tier billed monthly). A founding rate is the rate for as long as you stay a member without a break. If a standard price ever changes for existing members, you get at least a month's notice by email before it applies, and you can cancel before it does.

If a payment fails, Stripe retries the card over the following days and I email you a link to pay. Your plans keep arriving while that happens. If it stays unpaid after the retries, your membership ends and the links switch off.

When plans arrive: your first plan lands on the Monday after your setup form is in by the Thursday before. Miss the Thursday and it is the Monday after that. From then on a plan lands every fortnight, on a Monday, and I aim for the morning; it's written by a person, not a machine, so if one is going to be later that day, or later that week because I'm unwell or away, you'll hear from me before the Monday rather than after it, and the round moves with it so you never pay for a plan you didn't get.

Your side of the timing: each plan is written from the check-in you send after the last one. A check-in that arrives late pushes that plan back by as long as it was late; skip it and I write from what I have, so the plan is only as sharp as what you give me.

Refunds: no refunds for change of mind, on a membership you can cancel with notice. If I fail to deliver what the membership promises, you get the plans you paid for and didn't receive, re-supplied or refunded, at your choice, on top of whatever the Australian Consumer Law gives you.

Club Plus calls happen on WhatsApp at the time you book. Need to move one? Use the link in your reminder up to 24 hours before and pick another slot that month. A call missed without notice counts as that month's call, unless something genuinely went wrong, in which case tell me and we'll find a time.

The audit

The audit is one payment of A$300 for one written report on your account, personalised to it, delivered as a private page you can keep. It includes the Handbook.

After you pay you fill in a short intake and send your screenshots. I deliver within five business days counted from when your intake and screenshots land, not from payment, because I can't read an account I haven't been shown. If the intake never arrives, I'll chase you a couple of times; the order stays open for you and the timeline starts when it lands.

Refunds: change your mind before I've started and you get the whole payment back, just email me. Once the report is delivered there are no change-of-mind refunds, because it is one-off work done for you. If the report isn't what the page promised, tell me and I'll fix it or refund it, whichever is right, and your Australian Consumer Law rights always stand.

Your report is drafted with help from software and checked, corrected and signed by me before it reaches you; the audit page says so and nothing unread reaches you.

After the audit you get a link to try the Club free for a fortnight. It asks for a card and turns into a paid membership on these terms at the end of the fortnight unless you cancel before then, which you can do from the link in the email at any point during it.

The Handbook

The Handbook is one payment of A$50 for a copy of the book on a private page, plus the updates I make to it. It is delivered the moment your payment clears, by email and on screen.

Refunds: because it is delivered in full immediately, there are no change-of-mind refunds. If your link doesn't work or the book isn't as described, email me and I'll sort it.

Your private pages and your copy

Plans, reports and the Handbook live on private links made for you. Anyone holding the link can open the page, so keep it to yourself and the people in your business. If a link gets loose, tell me and I'll issue a new one.

What I write for you is for your business to use however you like on your own accounts. It stays my work: you can't resell it, republish it, pass it to another business, or use it to build a product or a course. The same goes for the Handbook and the free guides.

What you send me stays yours. I only use it to do the work you paid for, as the privacy page says, and I only ever quote your results publicly with your say-so.

The free guides

The free guide and the checklist cost your email address. You'll get the guide and a short series of emails after it, each with a one-click unsubscribe. Nothing else is sent unless you ask for it.

What I promise, and what I can't

I promise the work: a plan written for your account every fortnight, a report written for your account, checked by me, delivered on time. I promise honesty in it, including telling you when your account isn't the problem.

I can't promise results. Followers, reach, sales and bookings depend on what you post, how often, your business, and platforms whose rules change without warning. Nothing on this site is a guarantee of a number, and anything that reads like one is an example of what has happened for others, not a promise of what will happen for you.

Instagram, TikTok and the other platforms are not mine. I'm not responsible for their changes, outages, or anything they do to your account, and following a plan does not make me responsible for what you post. You're the one publishing, so you're the one who has to keep to the platform rules, the advertising rules and the law in your line of work.

This is coaching and advice for a business account. It isn't legal, financial or tax advice.

If something goes wrong

Under the Australian Consumer Law, services come with guarantees that can't be excluded: they'll be done with due care and skill, fit for the purpose you told me about, and delivered within a reasonable time. If I fail one of those, you're entitled to have it fixed, done again or refunded, depending on how serious the failure is.

Beyond those guarantees, and as far as the law allows, my liability for anything to do with the site or the work is limited to supplying the service again or refunding what you paid for it, and I'm not liable for indirect loss such as lost profit, lost followers or lost business.

If we disagree about something, email me first and we'll try to sort it out between us within 14 days. These terms are governed by the law of New South Wales, Australia, and its courts.

Using the site

Don't use the site to send spam, to scrape it, to break into it, to impersonate someone, or to make bookings or orders you don't mean. I can end a membership or refuse an order for abuse, and if I do, you get back the unused part of anything prepaid.

Everything on the site that isn't yours (the words, the design, the guides, the name) is mine, and copying it beyond what the law allows for your own reading isn't on.

Changes to these terms

These terms carry a version date (currently 2026-08-27). The version you agree to at checkout is recorded against your order, so a later change never rewrites what you bought. If I change something that affects a running membership, you get an email at least a month before it applies and you can cancel with your usual notice before then.
